Preston Family History

This is the most important thing I think we could do right now - keeping a little bit of the Preston Family history!!! I am hoping to do more journaling everyday. Elder Preston's Video from Ica

Chris Tidwell, who grew up in our ward, now works in Lima, Peru. Last weekend he took his family down to a resort in Ica, Peru. On Sunday the family went to a ward in Ica, one of many, and there he met Elder Preston. (Chris and his wife used to stay with Jordan when we left on business trips - so Chris and Daniell are good friends with Jordan.) So this is the video Chris sent to us which made Laura and me cry. What was so fun as I watched it the first time when I first saw Jordan I said outloud, "Jordan, look at me." Then I waved to get his attention. And that is when he waved back. It was just so fun! We hope all of you notice the community where he is living. Then notice how nice our church looks. We love you Elder Preston. Thank you to Chris Tidwell.

Yeah in Spanish you spell everything how it sounds so when you go back to English and it doesnt work like that you can longer spell anything. Well all is good, but the two baptisms we were going to have, have been moved cause she had to take a trip to Lima. And next week is census so no one can leave their house. So she and her husband are gonna go in two weeks. Its okay they could probably use the extra time. But Elder Stanley really wants to baptise somebody if we don`t baptise someone quick he is gonna drag me down to the river. Hey cool fact when you say ¨to go to Jordan¨ in Spanish it means to be born again. Neat I know. Come to me and you can be born again! Well other than that the work is good. We have one guy who is a stud. He is going to read the whole Book of Mormon before he gets babtised! How neat is that. And his family doesnt quite know its true like he does but they are close as a family of 7. I think I haven't actually met the whole fam. BTW can you send me the story of both our ancestors and how they got converted. I know one about the girl who took the little black box but I dont know who side or the details. And Stanley always tells his family story and I dont get the chance cause I don't really know it. Thanks that would be great. Love Elder Preston

PPS Their is a lady down here that paints pictures of Photos and she can paint the photo of our fam for approx $50 but big like to go iover the fireplace. And it will look tight, Stanley has already done a few and she is good. So let me know.
